Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. Perfect spare bed for guests. Like the combination headboard/footboard which keeps the mattress in place. Also, like that there is no middle rail which makes other brand's foldable beds very uncomfortable - particularly looked for that there is no middle cross rail under the mattress. When folded the bed fits perfectly under normal beds. I will look for suitable protective bags to keep the bed free from dust when stored.. Anonymous. Sat May 02 2026

The bed arrived fast and all parts were nicely and neatly packed. Nothing was missing and the manual was clear. I managed to assemble this bed alone, but of course, it is easier if you have an additional help. The slabs under the mattress could be made from a firm wood. If you press on an individual slab, it slightly gives in. I bought this bed as a sitting divan for our lounge and I love it.. Darina. Ashford, GB. Thu Aug 29 2024

Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. I would return this but have invested so much time in getting it together. Would have put a 0 out of 5 if it were possible. Alan Captain. Dereham, GB. Sat Aug 10 2024
