The chair is made of paulownia wood, which is the fastest growing hardwood in the world. The paulownia wood is known for its knotty characteristics, cracks and holes can occur in the wood and give this stool its robust character. Material Paulownia wood is a natural material with a soft texture, it is easily damaged or dented. However, paulownia wood is very hard-wearing and long-lasting, making the natural product very durable. The warm tone of the wood is very attractive for interior items. Paulownia wood has the coarse, robust characteristics of wood. This means that knots and cracks actually give the item its recognisably natural look.
