The drawers are excellent and fit the space I wanted them for perfectly. Unfortunately the manufacturer wasn't careful sending this to me and there were broken bits inside. Absolutely stunning!! Needs a degree of strength the assemble though, as the screws make the holes they need as you push and screw through the wood. The drawer runners aren't lined unfortunately, so with it being such a soft wood, you can't really put any weight in the drawers or the weight when you open it causes the runner to crack or dent pretty easily. Gorgeous chest of drawers. Was quite difficult to put together- no pre-drilled holes so you have to make sure you’re putting the screws in the correct place. Great quality chest of drawers, exactly as described and pictured. They look much more expensive than the cost - really pleased. Assembly took a bit longer than expected (around 3 hours) and instructions could have been a bit more detailed/clearer but would be quicker with two people. I found this easy to put together, on my own it took 1 hour 30 mins. The drawers are deep and it is solid... Only bad thing is it is far darker than pictured which is misleading. The colour is more cream than I was expecting from the description but it still went well in the bedroom, so just be aware if you are looking for off white as this range wouldn’t be suitable. Slightly annoyed with the delivery, despite being given a delivery slot and ensuring someone was home, they messaged 2 hours after to say that it was rescheduled for after the bank holiday (this was a Friday). We absolutely love this piece. The only reason for four stars is due to the lack of a shelf bottom where the basket is. I will be putting one in myself and matching the stain. I have another basket coming because I’m not crazy about the wicker. As you can also see, I changed out the knobs to match more my color scheme. All in all it is a great purchase. Came packaged very securely and in great shape. I was a little concerned after seeing some peoples photos. But I had no issue at all. Would highly recommend if this item suits your purpose.
