This is nice solid chair with a great MCM look. It is very comfortable and I can sit in it for long stretches working with great back support. The faux leather is soft and looks real. The color is more taupe than grey. The only negative is that the base is a hard plastic sprayed to look like wood and it chips pretty easy exposing the white plastic underneath if you hit the desk when you swivel the chair. I seen several others using this chair for dining. So that's exactly what we did. Bought 2 of the red. Took about a week delivery from Mississippi to Seattle. Box's were a little tired but chairs were fine. The quality and engineering excellent. Very comfortable sitting. I put them together myself & have a hint for you. Test each screw before assembly. This is a solid feeling drafting chair for those looking for something comfortable with arm rests that are adjustable. Easy assembly and seems sturdy. My only complaint is it arrived broken and there was a crack in the back of the chair which was only aesthetic and didn’t effect the chair that much.
