Comfortable mattress and modern look, same space saving design. Very eased.. Carol. Southend-on-sea, GB. Sat Jun 20 2026

Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. Andrea. Angus, Scotland. Mon Sep 21 2026

With a sleek curved design, the Elba daybed has three beautiful finish options: Surf White, Dove Grey, or Anthracite. Perfect for casual use or as a guest bedroom with the classic pull-out under-bed.

Convenient for a spare room or little room. Love this for my little boy who likes a lower bed but sofa for his room. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

Pocket sprung comfort. With its generous sleeping area and a luxurious e-Pocket sprung mattress, the Jay-Be Grand folding bed offers elevated comfort in both single and small double sizes. This contemporary design merges style with functionality: 360-degree locking castors allow easy mobility, and J-Grip legs guarantee complete stability when in use. The Mono-Tex platform base provides a supportive sleep foundation for the mattress, perfect for guests, sleepovers and regular use. Made in the UK, exceeding internationally recognised safety and quality standards.

Perfect spare bed for guests. Like the combination headboard/footboard which keeps the mattress in place. Also, like that there is no middle rail which makes other brand's foldable beds very uncomfortable - particularly looked for that there is no middle cross rail under the mattress. When folded the bed fits perfectly under normal beds. I will look for suitable protective bags to keep the bed free from dust when stored.. Anonymous. Sat May 02 2026

This is a stunning pure white daybed that offers great functionality for both children's rooms and elsewhere. The sleek curved design incorporates copious handy shelving, and when combined with the under bed provides enormous amounts of under bed storage or the option of an extra sleeping surface (sold separately).

Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. I would return this but have invested so much time in getting it together. Would have put a 0 out of 5 if it were possible. Alan Captain. Dereham, GB. Sat Aug 10 2024

This fantastic. Anonymous. Tue Jul 21 2026

This versatile wooden day bed can be used as a bed in your bedroom and also fits perfectly as a sofa in your living room.

Honestly, the worse thing I’ve had to build. None of the screws were separated or labelled, neither was the wood panels so you had to sit and measure the size difference for the screws that looked the same. When building, the small panels that go around the sides of the bed just kept falling off even though they’ve been drilled in. I couldn’t even put the screws in that attached the panels together because they kept spinning and not tightening. Would not recommend this to anyone.. Amanda. Silkstone Barnsley, GB. The instructions were very misleading, no screw holes for the desk part, some of the cupboards were a nightmare to put together, it feels fragile, I'll give it a week before I go to dreams, very disappointing from wayfair. Leroy. Wolverhampton. Mon Jun 22 2026

This versatile wooden day bed can be used as a bed in your bedroom and also fits perfectly as a sofa in your living room.

Instructions are hard to follow. Nothing is labelled. Thought it arrived in a small package which was great. I would have preferred a large box with bigger planks of wood so it wouldn’t be this painful to build.. Anon. Mon Oct 23 2023

Happy with the finished product although construction is not for the faint-hearted. It says it requires three people to assemble it however I managed 95% of it on my own and with a bit of planning, a second person is useful when it comes to manouvering the two halves around the room. I managed to construct the double bed version entirely in a room which is only 13ft by 8ft. The hardest part is following the instructions, they are not particularly clear in places and the "magnified" bits could do with being 2x larger. One step is particularly baffling where it expects you to screw a large nut in at either side but doesn't explain that you do it from the opposite side (well I did anyway because it was impossible to do it any other way). Some of the wooden holes didn't line up perfectly with the metal frame so I had to enlarge them slightly with a drill. Also some of the screws are already screwed into the pieces rather than being in the bags so you can be hunting around for things which are hiding in plain sight. Once constructed and in place the bed feels solid, the mechanism works well, in fact the springs are so powerful that until you get the bed flat it feels like it would catapult shut if you get go of it! The straps which hold the mattress in place seem like a bit of an afterthought, there are no pre-drilled holes to fix them in place and you just basically screw them to the wood, it'd look nicer using steel screw cup washers..
