Beautiful trunk, however the finish is not that grey really and almost has a yellowy tinge to it. My Mrs now wants me to grey wash the wood to correct it! Another job to do.

This item appealed to us for its ageless beauty and endless potential uses. We bought it for our daughter to use as a toybox, but to carry with her into the future as a blanket box, set, coffee table or whatever she chooses. We could not be happier with the item, the craftsmanship is top quality and the finish on the wood is even better than the advertised picture promised. We love the product and would say we got more than our moneys worth in it.

Not grey as it appears in the photos, quite a yellow cream, but nice quality and smooth finished top.

Love the piece, even though the 1st one was damaged ,delt with swiftly and politely
