This is so cute, utterly adorable. Made of metal so quite sturdy and nice quality. I think it looks nice as an ornament but could be used for rings/earrings. I love the fact it is aged for that vintage look, I have many old bits and pieces and it sits alongside these happily without looking out of place. I will let you into a little secret, the dog does unscrew from the base if you wish leaving you with a little doggie ornament and a small metal plate to use as a candle stand. I'm glad I bought this item, it's lovely :)
