Chawana 10 Pair Shoe Storage Bench

Much worse than I was expecting - I deliberately didn't get one of the cheapest benches on here but I wish I had as I can't see how the quality could have been much lower. The bench arrived covered in chips and marks (took a few photos of the biggest ones but there were loads), and none of the small screws have any guide holes. Ensure you drill some before trying to screw any in as the screws are extremely soft and you'll strip the screw head extremely easily! The shorter shelf doesn't quite line up properly with the central divider. It is weak chipboard which flexes alarmingly when I sit on it, I weigh 90kg though so I am admittedly fairly heavy. It also doesn't include a cushion despite two of the photos on the web page. That said, it isn't difficult to assemble (although it's extremely helpful to have 2 people at times), and does work as a bench despite all the damage. I wouldn't order this - just get one of the £70/80 ones, or spend a bit more and get a shoe bench made out of proper wood.
