Despite assurances that I would be able to track the delivery it arrived unexpectantly while the house was unoccupied and was left with a neighbour. The composter was just a collection of wooden battens cut to length, various screws, hinges and assembly instructions. I am fairly competent at assembling such things but it was a fiddly job with no pre-drilled holes so I feel that the web site description should emphasise that assembly of the composter does require a certain level of competency. Overall though I am quite pleased with my purchase which looks and performs a lot better that the plastic "Dalek" type bin.

This is a great compost bin for the money... you do have to build it yourself (there are no pre-drilled holes) and fortunately I read the other reviews before buying and you indeed need a drill, wood drill bit and either an electric screwdriver or in my case a ratchet socket and you need a tape measure.... there are NO pre-drilled holes and the instructions make it look more complicated than it actually is, when in fact a bit of common sense is all you need to work out the spacing for the slats! Took me about 5 hours to put it together on my own and I'm a girl!

Looks good in our garden. A little fiddly to put together, but all okay now.

Exactly what you think it is. No more. No less. Took a while to get together but great once it was.

It's great once assembled. Easy to lift into place. Easy access to put waste in and take compost out. You have to screw every single slat in place so you need time and patience and tools (electric screwdriver was good) to build it.
