weld holes in the end chrome frame work. One part of the cross box sections isn't lined up. For the money paid - very poor product.

I thought long and hard before I spent over £80 on a shoe rack, but the measurements were right for what I wanted, plus all reviews seemed very positive. I agree that assembly is easy. It holds 3-4 pairs of shoes per tier, which is pretty good, and I like the fact that the wall end of the tiers run up so that shoes don't touch and scuff the wall. The big disappointment is the table top, which is allegedly wood, but looks and feels very plastic-like (I opted for the lighter version). I have the rack right next to an old, stripped and bleached birch wardrobe, and have a Canadian maple hardwood floor, but this top just looks fake and cheap among other woods. For that price, even just a solid, thick slap of pine that one can wax or paint would have been more in line with the price. As it is, there is not much one can do to alter the top.

Perfect size, easy to assemble and decent quality.
