Hung it right at entryway coming into the house from the garage. Have not hung shoes on it yet but I think it will work nicely .

My husband and I managed to squeeze a shallow closet into the mudroom / breezeway that we added to our 1959 house. We bought two of these shoe racks for the closet and got a friend to help us mount them. They are fabulous!! Sturdy, spacious, and attractive.
