The product feels super cheap - almost like it's made out of balsa wood, but I think that's intentional because of the weight distribution when you put a yoga ball on it. But because of the material it's pretty easy to scuff/scratch. Wasn't surprised to see mine arrived already scratched. Otherwise, it works so I can't complain.
