Rowlinson Large Log Store

Pack of back boards delivered separately and we're discoloured and in some of them poorly finished as well as soaking wet. The build quality was poor. Roof slats had to be released nailed and the genreal quality poor. I would have returned it but had logs waiting to be stored and only discovered the poor quality when I was half way through the build. I would like some compensation for this under spec product. The green is the treatment leaching out.

Easy assembly. Large storage capacity. Where I have located it forms a wind break from westerlies but also ensures continued drying of logs.

Overall a well built log store for the price. Seems nice and sturdy compared with others in this price bracket, and stores a good amount of wood. However there is one big issue. The dimensions on the website are either wrong or misleading. 56cm is the size of the roof, not the area that stores logs. 43cm is the storage depth, meaning that you can not fit 2 logs front to back (standard size 250mm logs) leaving 10cm sticking out in the rain. Very frustrating as even the pictures show them stacked 2 deep. See photo for reference. If this wasn't an issue it would have been 5 stars.

Great product and works as expected. Large size and takes lots of wood. Instructions simple and took couple of hours to put together.

Good quality item, delivered ahead of schedule, and at a very competitive price. Comes in four packs, and is ready to be assembled. With ours, the bag holding the nails and screws had split and lost some of the contents en-route, because when being lifted off the van you could hear them dropping onto the floor. The delivery driver was excellent, and took several minutes out of his schedule to look around the van for the strays. Unfortunately we were still missing 40 nails short and 1 large screw. A quick trip to Homebase and we were sorted. Although the item is very sturdy, I decided to reinforce the base to make sure it could cope with the weight of the logs, and gave it a quick coat of wood stain. You definitely need two people and a good drill driver for the assembly, which was fairly painless and straightforward. I thoroughly recommend this item, and I am seriously considering getting another one.
