Shark Detect Pet Pro Expert Corded Upright Vacuum

The suction and maneuverability are really good. It's very easy to clean stairs as you don't need to carry the vacuum up the stairs. Overall, I am very pleased with the buy. Only thing is that I would prefer the air freshner cartridge to be optional to fit and the 2 attachments are quite fiddly to fit on the vacuum cleaner.

I've been a fan of Shark vacuums for years to the point of buying both of my grown children models. I've had a NV600 (which I loved everything about) for many years but foolishly vacuumed up a throw, which stopped the brush from rotating (light still comes on). Instead of getting it fixed my husband thought we should get a new one, especially as we now have a hairy dog. I was excited to get it (so sad!) but from lifting it out of the box I was disappointed, firstly by its weight. On assembly I was frustrated that because of the design of the dust box the tools didn't sit straight on their ledge and have to be wedged in to keep them in, then when trying to wind the cable, besides the tools then being in the way and not being able to fit the upholstery tool it came with (used old one), found that the gab to wind it was so narrow and cable so stiff it knocked the tools off and the cable stays curled. Previous designs would be the top and bottom of the unit simple to use not colliding with the tools, who’s bright idea was that! Don't understand why it would be designed that way, but while using it it’s only a start and finish frustration. But then I used it, I'm not a fan of the rubber sliders or brushes, I don’t enjoy the resistance when pushing it. Further on trying to vacuum my hall runners and door mats it lifts the corners so doesn’t clean to the edge (carpet with rubber edge and yes on min), so have to struggle to use the new unclip to get the handle off. I used to just adjust the suction manually, but this one only allows full or min, WHY take that control away?? Honestly the only reason I didn’t send it back was that my husband had recycled the box, so I’ll just have to “suck” up all the frustration and get used to it or make him do the vacuuming (better idea)! To me my old one’s suction was still brilliant and much easier to use, it does the job, but I’m really quite sad it’s now more of an effort.

Brought this model to replace a true pet liftaway, great not having to change between carpet and hard floors the machine does it automatically. Good suction and not too heavy, the anti wrap facility I was a bit dubious but works fine. The anti odour I’m not sure about as I can’t smell it The power lead needs to be on the left of the machine as it makes it awkward to manoeuvre Also the canister where the dust and hair collects needs to made easier to wipe out need to get rid of some of the small corner areas Overall I would recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this 2 weeks ago and I'm happy I did its a brilliant hover it's lighter than the one I had before and it picks up really well with the cat hair and cat litter it's a brilliant hover.

This vacuum is the best I have ever had and I have had many , the suction is brilliant love the lights on the bottom of the vacuum, and as for the cleaning of it it is so easy to dismantle and put back together so it stays nice and clean and not smelly like most other vacuum s get . Only down side is the cable as it is so stiff not plyable at all so it is harder to straighten.
