Late delivery! I haven’t received my order and haven’t been told when I’ll receive it

If you are purchasing this product please note the following. When Shire phone to arrange delivery they stipulate that their delivery drive won’t deliver around the back of the house. They will literally only dump it on the pavement in front of your house. Their delivery driver doesn’t even have a trolley to wheel it to your address should he not be able to park directly outside. It is delivered on a pallet which makes it twice as heavy & impossible to pick up because of the way it’s tied. I’d advise taking it apart as soon as it’s delieverd as the actual box pieces aren’t heavy. You are however then left with a bulky pallet to dispose of. The box is quite fiddly to put together so definitely needs two people. They haven’t drilled the holes so it is a case of doing it all yourself (took about 2 hours). The pieces haven’t been that well made with nails poking through where it has been bashed in at an angle at the factory & side pieces that aren’t secured. That said if you persevere it is a nice piece.
