Pull the line out and attach it at the other and when you are finished just unclip and let the washing line retract back into the housing unit. Got delivered a broken one and which is not even retractable- shopping was over £40 so didn’t pay delivery charges but now may need to pay delivery to send broken unit back,

Poor quality, whilst waiting a very long time for these two products to arrive they have only lasted a couple of weeks before both broke. Very cheap and a total waste of money

I ordered 2 of these. At first only 1 turned up but Wayfair rectified that without any hassle. The second item duly turned up but it was faulty. Despite the fact that I completely broke the item whilst trying to fix it Wayfair replaced it without question - impressive. I now have 2 lines that work.
