Billmont Blanket Chest

Awful piece of furniture. Badly finished waxing and pieces of thin ply made this a expensive piece of kit. Not normal Wayfair quality

Poor quality, constructed of flimsy plywood & badly finished. As others have reported it's not easy to assemble with the plywood warped so it needs to be forced into the grooves and the dowels are very flimsy (no spares supplied and 2 broke whilst assembling so I had to buy some more). Like others I found issues with the lid & did need to call on my DIY skills to get this assembled.

I bought this to keep my knits in as woolens do best lying down. This is a great colour and is a nice sturdy box. Not too difficult to assemble, only grumble it doesn't quite close.

The item was not up the usual standard. as a competent DIYer I managed to assemble the item but I found the following problems:- 1. The edges of the timber were not square 2. the predrilled holes were not in line 3. the fixings were cheap Phillips head screws 4. It was not easy to assemble

Badly built. The picture makes it look better quality.
