Not enough wood only solid wood lid and 2 sides and front, back and base is board and appears very flimsy!!!

Again just what I was looking for my daughter as she likes old fashioned things and the trunk fits with her 1950 bedroom

It looks ok, although it's a bit flimsy. The method of putting it together is crude to say the least. Long screws are inserted at an angle to hold it together and the screw heads protrude from the slots because they're not countersunk. The baseboard is fixed with nails from the inside and the nails supplied have domed heads so they don't go in flush to the surface. Basically it's a cheaply manufactured box that isn't really worth more than £50. It took me 20 minutes to put it together.
