It's fairly low quality wood, thinner and less strong than I would have hoped for. The top of the door was very rough and considering that also is the handle effectively to open the cabinet it isn't pleasant, therefore i have had to sand it smooth.The top was also broken and had to be glued. I bought this to paint and feel it will serve my purpose but on the pricey side considering the poor quality wood.
