Heavy duty and easy to install

The brackets are nice, very sturdy. Consistent with other comments though, the screws are not long enough for the anchors provided. The stock screws are fine for attaching the bracket to a wall stud, but because of the design and width of the wall bracket, one pair of screws has to be installed using an anchor and screw. To center a bracket between to end brackets for my shelves, all four screws needed to be attached to the wall using anchors as there is only drywall, no studs at the center. Anyhow, I had to purchase 1 1/2" screws (the ones provided are 1 1/4" - too short). If you're buying these brackets and anchors are needed, be prepared with a stock of longer #8 screws (black) that are 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" inch long. Tip: There are not readily available in local hardware stores - it's hit or miss. I became frustrated after wasted trips to three stores that didn't have the black screws I needed and finally had to purchase on line, of course having to wait until I could install the brackets and my shelves.

The brackets themselves are great- very sturdy, they are all uniform, good price for something built to hold a lotta weight. The hardware is useless. The screws are too small for the anchors, so they dont anchor. We had to go buy new ones. Thankful I only messed up a closet wall figuring that out.
