Shed looks really good when built but instructions are very complicated at times. My son who gave me a helping hand was an engineer and even he was scratching his head at times as to which way certain parts fitted. Might be advantageous to have holes where screws are to go. Says five hours assembly on instructions and it did take us the full five hours. When built shed is very sturdy and looks very stylish. We ordered two sheds recently, a 6x10 apex shed and a 6x3 pent bike shed. The 6x10 is a great shed, solid with nice big windows which make it ideal for a small workshop. I've just built the 6x3 bike shed and as with the previous shed, nice and solid. We had a couple of small annoying issues with both though. A couple of wall panels for the 6x10 were missing nails for the cladding. One section was missing 8 nails in a row and the cladding was bowing out. An easy fix, but not something I should be needing to fix. One of the screws for the door hinge looked loose and when I went to tighten it, I discovered it was just a screw head as there was already a nail in the same position underneath and the head had been placed in for cosmetic purposes. The bike shed was a little more annoying. The packing supports had all split and the shed panels were all over the lorry trailer floor. 2 panels had minor damage, one of them was missing the cladding overhang at the bottom of the wall panels. The other had damage to the tongue and groove. One of the panels must have been moving back and fore on the pallet and the blue paint from the pallet is rubbed onto one af the front panels. Little annoyances aside, they are great sheds and very easy to build. I also liked that I could pick and choose where doors, windows and wall panels went, so very customizable. This was a big expense for me we brought a 20 x 6 pent shed, the whole experience was fantastic. I Emailed a question on a Sunday and had a response back within the hour. The Lewis comes with a base coat preservative ready for you to top coat after assembly. Roof felt and all necessary fixings are supplied and the shed comes flat packed with a full set of installation instructions. Dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. I am so happy I chose Power Sheds. It’s been a quality experience from day 1. I was a little worried on the day since my shed hadn’t arrived by 4pm but a quick call to a very polite gentleman at Power Sheds reassured me and it arrived as promised. Onto the build: instructions are very clear and the video is really useful. All the fixings eg screws are quality and the timber all fabulous quality too. Put up a 7x5 pent in about 3 hours with help from my wife to position the panels. Longest job was putting on the roof felt but it was relatively easy.
