An extremely attractive potting shed with a handy bench; as its name suggests the Sun Hut is designed for maximum light! The 6 x 10 Sun Hut has eight, joinery made windows, all opening and glazed with toughened glass. The shiplap cladding is 12mm slow grown, very high grade FSC approved pine on sturdy 34mm square framing with both floor and roof also in T&G. The framed double door is fitted with a padbolt. Roof felt, assembly instructions and a fixing kit are provided. The shed is finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for top coating immediately on installation to your choice of wood paint or stain. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy). Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of delivery day you will also receive live tracking information. The shed arrived screwed on to a pallet as described, it did take me 30+ minutes to unscrew it and put all the panels together ready for building. The construction of the shed (7x5) was fairly easy and the structure felt strong and good quality, I will say it did take 2 people almost a whole day to get it up. The shed came with one key which we've recently lost so needed to contact customer care who were extremely helpful and happy to send us out a new key first class at a tiny fee. This is a really heavy duty and robust storage shed. It takes a bit to put together, but that may have been because we were assembling it between a tree and our fence-line where there was just barely enough space for the shed. Overall, it was not bad to put together as the assembly process is pretty straightforward. The steel poles are very stout and strong. I really don't see the wind taking this shed anywhere, especially if you stake it down. Plenty of stakes and some concrete anchors are included. There are ratchet straps at all four corners. These straps help to tighten and cinch down the outer cover around the covers for the doors at each end. This aspect is a really nice design as it tightens the cover around the door openings to help keep out the elements. The cover material seems pretty robust and can be tightened down with a lot of tension, so even in heavy winds you won't get any flapping or movement of the cover. We bought this shed for garden tool and supply storage in our backyard. Overall, we have been really pleased with it. Doing this alone in the wind was tricky but the kit went together well. Needs a few more of the 70mm screws when sent with the base kit. The ship lap on the door wings was a bit gappy so it doesn’t quite line up, and I’d prefer coach bolts for the hinges to make it a bit more secure, but it does the job. Roger. Wed Mar 18 2026

Having shopped around locally and online this looked like the best deal and we were pleased with the flexibility of the modular design, the quality of the product and the instructions. The price was fair - there are cheaper ones on the market but also much more expensive ones. The modular design made the construction easier. We did feel that the optional extras (eg. the timber sub structure) were quite expensive and the locks are not the best quality but there were plenty of fixings and enough felt to cover both the roof and also a hedgehog house made out of the wood from the pallet that the shed was delivered on. The delivery was very quick and convenient and the packing on the pallet kept it secure and made it easier to unpack it, as long as you followed the instructions. The online hep was very good - even though I was asking questions that I later found the answers to in the FAQ - sorry about that. Having shopped around locally and online this looked like the best deal and we were pleased with the flexibility of the modular design, the quality of the product and the instructions. The price was fair - there are cheaper ones on the market but also much more expensive ones. The modular design made the construction easier. We did feel that the optional extras (eg. the timber sub structure) were quite expensive and the locks are not the best quality but there were plenty of fixings and enough felt to cover both the roof and also a hedgehog house made out of the wood from the pallet that the shed was delivered on. The delivery was very quick and convenient and the packing on the pallet kept it secure and made it easier to unpack it, as long as you followed the instructions. The online hep was very good - even though I was asking questions that I later found the answers to in the FAQ - sorry about that.
