This Pent shed is a very practical design and manufactured from high grade, slow grown, FSC approved, North European pine overlap cladding boards over sturdy 34mm square framing with OSB roof and floor. Dip treated base coat preservative ready for top coating. All fixings, roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

We ordered two sheds recently, a 6x10 apex shed and a 6x3 pent bike shed. The 6x10 is a great shed, solid with nice big windows which make it ideal for a small workshop. I've just built the 6x3 bike shed and as with the previous shed, nice and solid. We had a couple of small annoying issues with both though. A couple of wall panels for the 6x10 were missing nails for the cladding. One section was missing 8 nails in a row and the cladding was bowing out. An easy fix, but not something I should be needing to fix. One of the screws for the door hinge looked loose and when I went to tighten it, I discovered it was just a screw head as there was already a nail in the same position underneath and the head had been placed in for cosmetic purposes. The bike shed was a little more annoying. The packing supports had all split and the shed panels were all over the lorry trailer floor. 2 panels had minor damage, one of them was missing the cladding overhang at the bottom of the wall panels. The other had damage to the tongue and groove. One of the panels must have been moving back and fore on the pallet and the blue paint from the pallet is rubbed onto one af the front panels. Little annoyances aside, they are great sheds and very easy to build. I also liked that I could pick and choose where doors, windows and wall panels went, so very customizable. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Took me about 1 day to put together with some assistance from my son. Recommend about 3 people. My advice would be to pay very close attention to instructions. One mishap can throw assembly into chaos. Bring your power tools and drill. I had to drill for couple of misplaced holes. I had to build elevated wood foundation so keep that in mind. Keep your screws in the bag they came in...mines were all over the place. Lower your expectations. This is not a solid wood shed with more sturdy material. I had to add weather strip to the doors (large gap in between). Other than that Im not too disappointed. Putting together is just a tedious process. Take your time and go step by step.
