Trim shelving and hang bars down to suit the exact dimensions of your storage space. Use the included fixings to attach the shelving to the back and side walls of your space. The hardware will work with solid walls and plasterboard / stud construction walls as long as the wall is of standard building regulations. If fixings to timber, ensure the timber is 1"/ 2.54 thick minimum. Compatible with ClosetMaid Fixed Mount hardware systems and accessories.

The cabinet itself looks okay when fitted together. However, fitting it together is another matter. The clothes storage system is so easy to put together (although I would recommend that the manufacturer numbered the parts) but it's straightforward..we built it in 2 parts..shelving section first (which has 3 fixed shelves,one is the top and 2 adjustable) and put in situ, then the top and right-hand side were attached together first before carefully joining to the shelf unit (working in a small area made this process much easier)..haven't felt the need to attach to the wall yet as the weight of the shelf unit and clothes hung up makes it quite sturdy..love the fact that it can be adapted for smaller alcoves,this wasn't necessary for us as the unit being 160cm at it's maximum length was perfect for the space we have. The unit was well packaged and in perfect condition along with the exceptional quality of the curtain. Nightmare. Didn't expect flatpack. Instructions impenetrable - damaged package inside box so not even sure if all pieces are present. Asked to return and have been offered 15% discount if I keep it - which Ibdo not want to do. Putting it together would be at least a day's work for me with no guarantee of success.. Leonie.
