Our stunning shoe storage boasts an exceptional commitment to sustainability, all external timbers used are 100% reclaimed, helping us to contribute to a greener, more beautiful world. The collection is produced largely by hand by skilled craftsmen. During the timber preparation, they leave all nail holes and scars to try and maintain as much of the 'weathered wood' appearance as possible, making each piece unique and characterful. The painted sections undergo a meticulous hand-spraying process, repeated until the designer's envisioned appearance is flawlessly attained. The natural (non-painted) areas have been prepared using a similar method, but instead a clear protective laquer is used, so you can see the beauty and character of every piece of timber. Just finished putting this shoe cabinet together and could not be happier with it. Due to just finishing it, I cannot speak to its durability yet, but it looks great and I'm happy it fits all my shoes - especially multiple pairs of running shoes. I am a men's size 13 and as you can see, 3 pairs easily fit on each row, including on the middle row, where 8 have 2 pairs of Hokas (which are large!). On the right side, my girlfriend (who has much smaller feet) was able to easily was easily able to fit 2 pairs of boots on a row. The quilted seat is actually a convenient storage compartment for things like shoe care. The convenient hinged pair of doors, on the other hand, conceals two reinforced shelves behind them. In addition, maintaining cleanliness has never been so easy, thanks to high legs which can accommodate a nozzle or a mop.
