The item was delivered in a single, large parcel, necessitating placement in the rear garden. Assembly requires two individuals. We encountered an issue with a defective hinge; however, customer service provided excellent support. We are currently awaiting the replacement part, which is being shipped from America and is expected to arrive within several weeks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly process looked daunting but once started, was relatively easy by following the very clear instructions. Solid piece of furniture and all the parts fit well. One snag was that I felt that the hinge lid opened uncontrollably to the vertical position and then it was quite difficult to close it.
