Having worked as a handyman, putting it together was pretty simple. It’s easier with two people but certainly possible with one if you use have the tools. What I completely neglected to realise is, sheds are deceiving, or at least the measurements are. As you read the title, you would assume the base is 7x7, but that is not the case. The roof is what spans across at that measurement. So don’t think you will be getting 7x7 space. Other than that... It’s basic, pretty simple and it is a shed. The Bradley is a substantial shed in a range of sizes. A robust log cabin, it comes with fully framed double doors and a joinery quality, opening window. The cabin comes with a tongue and groove roof and floor with pressure treated bearers. The door is fully framed with a pad bolt and features a full length piano style hinge to improve security. The interlocking timbers that make up the walls of the building are 19 mm thick, some 50% thicker than a normal garden building; roof and floor are 12 mm thick. The building is supplied untreated ready for you to paint or stain immediately after assembly. Where dimensions are critical please check internal (floor) sizes as building dimensions are to the edge of the individual boards that make up the cabin and will include the crossover of the logs. Internal eaves height is 7' (2146 mm) for a spacious interior. Please note that log cabins are supplied as individual log boards that are assembled length by length, building up from the floor; not pre-made panels. The building is manufactured here in the UK and all of the wood used is high grade, FSC approved Northern European Pine. Assembly instructions and mineral roof felt are included. With a lockable single door to the side and a work bench across the front, the Iceni has everything you'd want. The big window at the front is glazed with acrylic for safety and the opening side window is glass. It is constructed from high-grade 12mm shiplap cladding to the walls and tongue and groove boards to the roof and floor all on 44 mm strong framing. Mineral roof felt, fixing kit and assembly instructions are provided. Manufactured in the UK from high-grade Northern European FSC-certified timber and finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for your own top coat of stain or paint. Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
