A bit flimsy, but I knew that from the description - 38mm structural timber - if I was building one myself, I'd use 2x2 minimum. Having worked as a handyman, putting it together was pretty simple. It’s easier with two people but certainly possible with one if you use have the tools. What I completely neglected to realise is, sheds are deceiving, or at least the measurements are. As you read the title, you would assume the base is 7x7, but that is not the case. The roof is what spans across at that measurement. So don’t think you will be getting 7x7 space. Other than that... It’s basic, pretty simple and it is a shed. The shed arrived in two securely packaged boxes that were easy for two people to carry to the assembly site. I unpacked everything in order and confirmed that all parts were present and in perfect condition. The directions were clear and concise, and the components fit together exactly as shown. For those planning to build this, I have three recommendations to make the process easier The Overlap Rule 1.The instructions should emphasize leaving the last screw unsecured where panels overlap until the next panel is in place. 2.Elevate Your Work We used backyard tables for subassembly to avoid working on the ground, which saved our backs. 3.Plan Your Exit When installing the roof, work from the inside toward an outer edge. We kept a stepladder inside the shed to reach the top screws for the center pieces. Just make sure your final panel is one of the outside edges so you can finish the last screws from a ladder on the exterior. For the lower screws, I highly recommend using construction knee pads (I picked mine up at the local hardware store), which made the ground-level work much more comfortable. My assembly partner and I finished the entire build in about 5 ½ hours. While a novice might want a bit more detail in certain steps, we found it to be a very straightforward project. This shed is delivered free to most UK addresses, using Forest Garden's White Glove Delivery Service, so will be dropped off wherever you want it in your garden, with all packaging removed. This handmade Lewis Shed with Log Store combines all your garden needs in one high quality building. The shed is supplied with best 12mm Shiplap timber to the walls, roof and floor, all on sturdy 34mm square framing. The door comes with a full length security hinge and the window is opening. Doors and window frames are pre-hung for easy assembly and the door can go at either end. The Lewis comes with a base coat preservative ready for you to top coat after assembly. Roof felt and all necessary fixings are supplied and the shed comes flat packed with a full set of installation instructions. The log store is made to the same high specification as the shed but has slatted walls to promote airflow around the logs to allow drying. Dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building.
