Color/Finish: Classic White. Components Included: Hang tracks, wall standards, wire shelves, closet rods, and support brackets. Frequently Asked Questions Can the ClosetMaid ShelfTrack kit be cut down to fit smaller walls? Yes, absolutely. The steel top hang tracks, vertical standards, closet rods and wire shelves can all be trimmed down to fit your exact wall space. You can use a standard hacksaw for the tracks and a pair of heavy-duty bolt cutters or a hacksaw for the steel wire shelves. Don't forget to push the plastic end caps onto the cut wire ends to keep things neat and tidy! Can I adjust the position of the shelves and wardrobe rails after installation? Yes, that is the biggest benefit of the ShelfTrack system. Unlike fixed mount shelving, the components click securely into a vertical twin-slot wall standard. You can lift, lower, rearrange, or add more shelves and clothes hanging bars at any time as your storage requirements change, completely tool-free and without drilling new holes. What tools do I need to install this wire shelving wardrobe system? Installation is straightforward for any DIYer. You will need a spirit level, a tape measure, a drill (with appropriate bits for your wall type), a screwdriver, and a hacksaw or bolt cutters if you intend to cut the components to size. All core installation tracking, brackets, and kit hardware are included in the package. Is this adjustable organiser system strong enough for heavy winter coats? Yes, the ClosetMaid ShelfTrack system is heavy-duty and designed to hold substantial weight. Because the system hangs from a top track mounted securely to your wall, the weight load is evenly distributed. Shelving is constructed from steel wire which easily supports heavy winter coats, stacked storage boxes, jeans, and bulky linens without bending or sagging. In fact ShelfTrack can hold up to 30kg per 30cm of shelving. I like this kit, but I want an extra shelf or some drawers. Is that possible? Yes, absolutely. You can customise your kit by purchasing two or more kits and utilising additional shelving and hardware, or by adding compatible accessories. Look out for ClosetMaid ShelfTrack accessories to ensure compatability.

This storage system combines form and function allowing you to choose from a range of stylish components to create a completely personalized living space.

***UPDATE Ive recently built it (on my own with the help of two ladders i may add) and its fantastic. See new photo** Arrived in a bashed and mashed up holey box(see my photos!), i didnt notice until I had a good look at it in the kitchen as the delivery man put it mashed up side down (and zoomed off) and I was in a rush to get on my school run. Luckily my cctv cameras videoed the state it was when as he delivered it. I have opened the box (and resealed it) and Im not sure if some bits are missing yet as this wardrobe rack is for the house Im moving to in a few weeks and will get built then. Am a bit worried some of the metal legs might be damaged as box was strangely indented all down the long sides as well as having a massive hole ripped at one end, and Im also worried if the smaller components are all there or not too.... I just wont know until its being built. I will update this review when this rack gets assembled.. Jw. Cambridgeshire. Tue Aug 02 2022

Amazingly easy to adjust, cut and fit....I admit I was dubious as to how strong it would be as it was fragile looking in photo, but a few drilled holes later and I am stunned how solid it is and the weight it can hold. Best buy I have made for a recessed wardrobe that's had a few (more expensive) "solutions" that just didn't work! Well done Closetmaid.... Anonymous. Thu Nov 27 2025

The clothes storage system is so easy to put together (although I would recommend that the manufacturer numbered the parts) but it's straightforward..we built it in 2 parts..shelving section first (which has 3 fixed shelves, one is the top and 2 adjustable) and put in situ, then the top and right-hand side were attached together first before carefully joining to the shelf unit (working in a small area made this process much easier)..haven't felt the need to attach to the wall yet as the weight of the shelf unit and clothes hung up makes it quite sturdy..love the fact that it can be adapted for smaller alcoves, this wasn't necessary for us as the unit being 160cm at it's maximum length was perfect for the space we have. The unit was well packaged and in perfect condition along with the exceptional quality of the curtain. Overall we're really happy to recommend the storage system and Wayfair's excellent customer service.. Johanna. London, GB. Sun Jul 17 2022

A mixed review... this wardrobe system is proving to be just what we wanted. Its open and accessible and is adaptable to how we want to store stuff. But... its logical and understandable to build the system. However, its really fiddly. Not impossible or necessarily difficult. Just fiddly. Theres lots of mucking about getting things level and drilling pilot holes to fix the wooden shelves. Also, you need to secure the uprights to the floor and ceiling with screws. They dont just pressure. Now, thats not insurmountable but its faff. Finally, the uprights have a very small amount of wobble in them. They make me nervous, in truth. I really like the effect and the practicality. But as a free-standing structure I lack confidence in its sturdiness. I havent added pictures because it looks like a variation of the advertising photos. I found it unclear about exactly whats included... 4 uprights, 4 small shelves (50cm w), two drawers in a cabinet (50cm w), a shoe shelf (90cm w), a trouser rack (90cm w), a wide shelf (90cm w) and 3 extendable rails (note, they do not fit in the 50cm wide section)..
