We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy.. This is the solution to an emerging problem of stolen packages. With the sturdy, lockable, and sizeable collection, packages will be out of sight of porch pirates, curious neighbors, and stray pets. The bold “Deliveries” sign communicates the purpose to the mail carrier. Prevent the emotional distress, financial loss of replacement, and lost time associated with porch theft. This collection is also used for outdoor storage solutions in your backyard- a wide range of outdoor items and garden supplies will comfortably fit. An interchangeable blank frame piece can be used instead of the “Deliveries” sign when the collection is used for general storage. The angled roof and weather-resistant materials are practical and will keep the contents dry throughout the seasons. A shingled roof and stylish wood grain texture complement most home exteriors. The hinge can hold the lid open without assistance. This extra-large collection interior volume of 6.3 cubic feet is designed to hold multiple large packages or storage items. Fabulous Large box with lock. Took a while to build as its got lots of screws, washers and nuts. The instruction were not too bad but some part were hard to understand. (Used you tube for help with the lock) Once made the box is sturdy and moves about on the wheels easily. being metal it should be great in winter, however, it does has some small gaps at the bottom so i am going to use a water proof silicon to make a complete barrier to the outside, no spiders or insects getting in that way. On the whole Iam very happy with this item :). Sue. GB. Sat May 09 2026

Durable, weather resistant and UV protected, the Stone Grey weave retains all the aesthetic qualities of natural materials, as is true of all our synthetic woven products. To keep your cushions in tip top condition whilst in storage we recommend using a cushion bag inside the cushion box as added protection from any residual moisture or condensation from damp cushions.

Delivered on time but a little disappointed with the colour as slightly darker grey than in the picture. Took me about an hour and a half to put together as one of the holes just slightly off so had to keep loosening other screws around it to eventually get them all in. Once put together looks and feels very sturdy. Please check every part for breaks in the rattan as it was only when I had nearly finished that I noticed a break near one of the screws. Unfortunately it is right on the corner at the front of the box and unable to try and rejoin the pieces as pieces missing but I could not face taking all screws out to return the box so have kept it. Except for the one break I am pleased with my purchase.. Barbara. York, GB. Mon Aug 31 2026

Picture only instructions which are misleading. Fiddly Allen key assembly which is slow going. Make sure the open/closing mechanism on side panel and lid are on the same side. Always looking for another deck box for storage of my cushions and pillows of my patio. This one was priced really well so I thought I would go for it. It wasn’t too hard to put together, but I did find that it is a bit on the light side so I will have to weight it down so that the wind doesn’t move it around over the winter. Because you cannot pile anything on top of it. I did find for easier assembly that the last rod needed to be connected in the middle rather than the corner pieces. Since I haven’t put it outside yet in harsh weather, I’m not sure if it is truly waterproof and will hold its shape….this is why I gave it a four star rating rather than five.. Househuntress.
