Everything you need to install a shelving system in a closet is 5ft. to 8 ft. (1.52m - 2.44m) wide. Up to 108" (274cm) of hanging space, up to 228" (579cm) of shelf space, and 36" (91cm) of shoe storage. Some shelf cutting may be required to fit closet space. This can be done with a hacksaw or bolt cutters. End caps are provided to cover cut ends and give a neat finish. All hardware and installation templates are included. This kit uses ClosetMaid's 12" (30.5cm) deep Shelf and Rod-style shelving with our Fixed Mount hardware system. Note that this kit requires mounting to the back wall of your space, and to both side walls. If you do not have side walls to attach to, then please consider a ShelfTrack option instead. We recommend that when buying this kit you ensure you have a minimum ceiling height of 85" (2.15m) and a minimum wardrobe depth of 22" (55cm). Material: white vinyl-coated steel. Use in a built in wardrobe, walk in wardrobe space, utility room or cloakroom to provide hanging storage for short and long garments, folded items and shoes. This organiser kit comes with everything you need to create a wardrobe with up to 3'/ 90cm of long hanging space, 6'/ 1.8m of short hanging space, 10'/ 3m of shoe storage and 21'/ 6m of shelving space. Trim shelving and hang bars down to suit the exact dimensions of your storage space. Use the included fixings to attach the shelving to the back and side walls of your space. The hardware will work with solid walls and plasterboard / stud construction walls as long as the wall is of standard building regulations. If fixings to timber, ensure the timber is 1"/ 2.54 thick minimum. Compatible with ClosetMaid Fixed Mount hardware systems and accessories.
