Well packed. The siding has a protective plastic coating on it to keep from getting scratched during shipment. You need to take that off before assembly. I don't recall anything in the directions about doing that so we didn't discover it until we'd already assembled a few of parts. I recommend wearing the provided gloves as the metal is very sharp on the edges and ends and you can easily cut yourself. The finished assembly has safety edges on the shed so sharp edges are all covered by then. The directions weren't bad but they weren't exceptional either. There were both pictures and written instructions. One big plus was the holes lined up well. It did take hours to assemble. The "floor" is two of the shelves at the bottom. The open part of the shed doesn't have a floor but does have two bars to add strength to the shed. The roof has white plugs for the screws to make it water tight and we had a heavy rain right after assembly and it didn't get wet inside. We placed it behind our above ground pool ladder platform on 10 12x12 leveled cement pavers. We had some high winds after putting it there and because it's in a sheltered area, it stayed fine. I plan to put some of the pavers on the flooring to hold it down better. It will work well to store our pool toys such as goggles and volley ball net and ball. Pleased with the quality. Decent storage cabinet and will work for what I need it for. The shelving seems sturdy enough . The doors catch pretty badly on the center and they are a little hard to open. The handles are very shallow and extremely difficult to use. It looks like there is an option to add more hardware but it didn’t come with the kit. Assembly was straightforward but did require significant manual labor. A team of 2-3 men could put it together in a full weekend of work. The biggest pros of this building is the modular aspect, which allows you to place the windows wherever you would like (sides or back). We placed both windows on the back wall, which allowed us to increase airflow and keep it cooler inside the shed, essential for using it as a farm store. We also love the french doors.
