This is a really lovely cabinet, it is well made and the instructions are easy to follow. Why 1 star? Because my plates don’t fit in it and the shelf is too narrow for my bowls to safely stand on it. There are no given dimensions for the plates it will accommodate in the description, the large plate in the picture shows plenty of room around it making you think that even if you have larger pieces the plates will fit. The kicker is, I looked at replacing my dining set and it turns out that the only thing smaller I can get are the plain white savers style supermarket sets. Anything that is a bit nice is larger. I’m not a fan of large plates and would happily get smaller ones but as my search is demonstrating, I have a typical sized set already meaning this item has not been designed to accommodate the current market.
