Both roof and floor are of tongued and grooved pine and the floor has close spaced bearers for added support. The windows are storm resistant joinery quality frames glazed with 3 mm glass. All of the timber is sourced only from very slow grown, high grade, FSC, European pine. The building is provided with a basecoat treatment ready for top coating by the customer immediately after installation. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

This bike shed is great as a space-saving bike store, by storing the bike on the back wheel you use less floor space, so freeing up valuable garage or garden space. Inside this thick, weatherproof, all steel unit is an easy access guide ramp and a wheel retaining clamp. Simply open the heavy-duty, fully galvanised door. Then lift and push the bike into the wide guide rail. Your front wheel lifts over the wheel retaining hook and then drops into place, clamping the bike wheel into place. It's that simple, your bike is now stored! In the vertical bike locker, there is even room to hang your helmet and bags on the hooks inside. To keep your bike and accessories secure, the vertical bike locker door is fitted with a strong 3 point locking system which features a pick and drill resistant euro cylinder lock. We ordered two sheds recently, a 6x10 apex shed and a 6x3 pent bike shed. The 6x10 is a great shed, solid with nice big windows which make it ideal for a small workshop. I've just built the 6x3 bike shed and as with the previous shed, nice and solid. We had a couple of small annoying issues with both though. A couple of wall panels for the 6x10 were missing nails for the cladding. One section was missing 8 nails in a row and the cladding was bowing out. An easy fix, but not something I should be needing to fix. One of the screws for the door hinge looked loose and when I went to tighten it, I discovered it was just a screw head as there was already a nail in the same position underneath and the head had been placed in for cosmetic purposes. The bike shed was a little more annoying. The packing supports had all split and the shed panels were all over the lorry trailer floor. 2 panels had minor damage, one of them was missing the cladding overhang at the bottom of the wall panels. The other had damage to the tongue and groove. One of the panels must have been moving back and fore on the pallet and the blue paint from the pallet is rubbed onto one af the front panels. Little annoyances aside, they are great sheds and very easy to build. I also liked that I could pick and choose where doors, windows and wall panels went, so very customizable. When lock down came and I could no longer get the help i had planned to put it together, i decided (as a complete novice with an electric drill/screwdriver) to do it myself. The shed was very well designed and I got advice and support from Powersheds when I needed it for the build - even at the week end. and the quality seems great (its only been up for a month). two small pieces were missing from the order and the team responded immediately and sent them by courier the next day. A high-quality workshop that will provide really useful storage or workshop space. The large doors are fully framed and braced and they are fitted with a full-length piano hinge for added security. Rim lock and key are provided. Framing is an impressive 44 mm square. The high-grade shiplap cladding provides much-improved weatherproofing and longevity. The internal working height is 6 feet at the eaves, giving a comfortable working environment for the vast majority. Both the roof and floor are of tongued and grooved pine and the floor has close-spaced bearers for added support. The windows are storm-resistant joinery-quality frames glazed with 3 mm glass. All of the timber is sourced only from very slow-grown, high-grade FSC European pine. Mineral roof felt supplied. This 8 ft. W x 8 ft. D Shiplap Apex Wooden Shed creates a lovely hobby room and looks great in the garden too. With a lockable single door to the side and a workbench across the front, the Iceni has everything you'd want. The big window at the front is glazed with styrene for safety and the opening side window is glass. It is constructed from high-grade 12mm shiplap cladding to the walls and tongue and groove boards to roof and floor all on 44mm strong framing. Manufactured in the UK from high-grade Northern European FSC certified timber and finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for your own top coat of stain or paint. We ordered two sheds recently, a 6x10 apex shed and a 6x3 pent bike shed. The 6x10 is a great shed, solid with nice big windows which make it ideal for a small workshop. I've just built the 6x3 bike shed and as with the previous shed, nice and solid. We had a couple of small annoying issues with both though. A couple of wall panels for the 6x10 were missing nails for the cladding. One section was missing 8 nails in a row and the cladding was bowing out. An easy fix, but not something I should be needing to fix. One of the screws for the door hinge looked loose and when I went to tighten it, I discovered it was just a screw head as there was already a nail in the same position underneath and the head had been placed in for cosmetic purposes. The bike shed was a little more annoying. The packing supports had all split and the shed panels were all over the lorry trailer floor. 2 panels had minor damage, one of them was missing the cladding overhang at the bottom of the wall panels. The other had damage to the tongue and groove. One of the panels must have been moving back and fore on the pallet and the blue paint from the pallet is rubbed onto one af the front panels. Little annoyances aside, they are great sheds and very easy to build. I also liked that I could pick and choose where doors, windows and wall panels went, so very customizable. So I would definitely recommend them. The instructional videos are excellent and really help with construction.. Alasdair. Wed Nov 20 2024
