This automatic opening dustbin, based on infrared technology, solves this problem. Simply wave your hand above the infrared panel and the lid will open automatically, dispose of the rubbish, and within a few seconds, it will close again automatically. This 32 litres Rubbish Bin is a compact and durable single bin pull-out system mounted on full-extension, high-quality ball bearing runners that is suitable for use within cabinets with hinged doors. It is mounted to the base of the cabinet making for ease of fitment and allowing it to be used in cabinets 300mm and wider. It is operated by a set of integrated runners (included within the system), once the cupboard door is opened there is a handy steel lip on the front on the bin system which is then used to pull out the bin compartment from the mechanism.

Useful and easy to install, top bit sometimes comes off but easy fix. Anonymous. Tue Sep 15 2026

The simplehuman unique touch-bar makes it easy to open the bin from any angle. Just tap with your elbow, bump with your hip or nudge with your knee. And it stays open until you are ready to close it - ideal during food prep or while finishing up long chores. The simplehuman code M liner fits this bin perfectly no bunching or slipping for a cleaner experience.

Needed a bin with large capacity that fits in a very small area in my kitchen. This was the only bin I could find online that fit the width I needed with a large capacity and I’m so glad it comes with other benefits like the no finger prints and germs feature. The packaging was great and came with some free bin bags too with a QR link magnet to attach to the bin in case you run out!. Humaira. Ashton-under-lyne, GB. Tue Jun 30 2026

Ready for the next step in organising your home? Get your hands on the Brabantia Touch Bin 30 litre. This sturdy bin is easy to clean, protects the floor from scratches and opens smoothly, thanks to the soft-touch opening system. It really is easy!

Just as I expected! We've had a 13 Gallon Brabantia for our kitchen for many years and debated on this one, thinking it might be a bit much for a bathroom. The price was right at the time I ordered and couldn't be happier with it! Also, wasn't sure of the white, but it stands out nicely. It's slender & comes about thigh high on me, and I'm 5'1". I know this will be with us for a very long time! (don't mind the dogs in the pic). Laura. Sachse, TX. Tue Jan 23 2024

The simplehuman slim kitchen pedal bin has a space-efficient shape that fits perfectly in tight spots, like between cabinets. The liner rim lifts up for easy access to the liner, then closes to grip and keep it neatly out of sight. The strong steel pedal is built to last, and lid shox technology ensures a smooth, silent and soft close every time.

Expensive but great looking. Very well packaged for transit. Nice to have bags included. Janet. Mission Viejo, CA. Sat Aug 29 2026
