I wanted this trash bin because of the handle bar open. Motion sensor was out of the question for me because of my narrow kitchen and I shied away from step cans because of accidental opens. It looks good but the steel is thin, thinner than cheaper trash cans I've seen for 1/3 the price. The first one I received had a big dent on the edge. The box and shipping box were not damaged. The second one I received was perfect. The handle bar and manual closing becomes tedious and I wish I opted for a step can. Needed a bin with large capacity that fits in a very small area in my kitchen. This was the only bin I could find online that fit the width I needed with a large capacity and I’m so glad it comes with other benefits like the no finger prints and germs feature.
