This wooden work bench makes a practical addition to your garage.

Bit disappointed with the quality of the materials. The bench is exactly what I needed but the wood is quite thin for the size of the screws so some pieces split when assembled. Identifying the pieces was a challenge and some of the pre drilled holes were the wrong size so had to be remade. There were not enough of some screws but there were some entirely superfluous fittings in the bag. It will do the job and wasn’t very expensive but it took some ingenuity and a long time to get it together. Not sure how long it will last as the wood is under a lot of strain.. Hilary. Really nice table. A lot more sturdy than I expected. Very good value. Just a couple of little details that would have moved it from 4 to 5 stars. The screws to adjust the side panels need washers to allow them to work well; the two screws that adjust tilt should have large fender washers to improve operation. Also the screws that stop the table from being wobbly (brace the uprights), the heads got damaged (not unusable) the first time I folded it up. I had a couple of 8mm screws and swapped them. The final thing, the bottom bar that lock the feet together pops out on the one I bought, I just used some rivets to hold it in (quick fix).. Simon. NS. Sat Mar 08 2025
