When opened, the seat does not protrude beyond the edge of the bench, so we don't have to move it away from the wall for fear of scratches. The fabrics used for the upholstery are resistant to stains, abrasion, and sun rays. The legs are made of class A beech wood, carefully sanded and varnished in the colour of your choice, with a chip-resistant varnish.
