Impact Resistant Sheds

The evolutionary Darwin shed is the perfect design if you want the look and feel of wood with all of the benefits and ease of plastic. A Keter shed provides ample airflow by having specifically placed vents but, as with any shed, condensation can form. If you do see signs of condensation here are hints to help you to protect the contents of your shed. To prevent condensation inside your shed, wherever possible, do not allow any excess moisture inside the shed. To do this try and ensure all equipment inside the shed such as camping gear or sporting goods are cleaned and dried before storing them in the shed. Try to let as much air inside the shed on cooler, dry days, by opening the shed doors. This will help the air circulation inside the shed and will drop the humidity level inside. Please note the durable material that all Keter sheds are made of will not be affected by moisture or condensation as part of the Keter no maintenance promise.

Great little shed. As long as you follow the instructions, it's pretty straightforward to put together. Take note of the 4x corner panels and the dimensions - the 2 sides are different widths so if you don't get them the correct way round, it won't fit together properly. Found the roof panels a bit tricky to get under the small lip, other than that I'm really pleased with the shed.. Jane. Uk. Sat Jul 18 2026

The item was delivered in a single, large parcel, necessitating placement in the rear garden. Assembly requires two individuals. The instructions provided were exceptionally clear, further supplemented by helpful YouTube video tutorials. We encountered an issue with a defective hinge; however, customer service provided excellent support. We are currently awaiting the replacement part, which is being shipped from America and is expected to arrive within several weeks. Despite this, the storage cupboard is otherwise highly satisfactory and comes recommended.. Ac. Greater Manchester. Fri Jun 12 2026

Have the look of a wooden shed without maintenance. Constructed from Evotech Composite, an advanced resin technology that ensures durability. It is fully weather-resistant, so you'll never have to worry about panels warping, overlapping, or cracking. Designed with convenience in mind, you can build your Darwin shed in just a few hours. No unique skills are required, all you'll need is a hand drill and a step ladder. With a floor panel to protect against mud and rainwater and built-in ventilation to allow ample airflow, the Darwin shed keeps belongings protected all year round.

Delivery: Ordered Sunday evening and arrived Monday lunchtime: extremely quick. Construction: Form other reviews I thought it would be a nightmare, but it was straightforward & simple. Lay out all materials and read all instructions carefully (including having a solid/level foundation to build from). There are a few tricky bits- namely the last roof panel corner which is hard to snap in place (I had to pry it in using a flat-head screwdriver with a bit of local damage to the plastic which settled back). Vast majority was a 1-person job, I only had to ask my wife a couple of times for a few moments. Recommend using a drill for most of the self-tapping screws into the plastic panelling as there are a lot. Overall it took me around 6/7hrs so allow a full day shift. Product: Overall I’m very happy with the quality of the shed. It is sturdier than I anticipated (of course not as much as a wooden shed but certainly strong enough for the sheltered area I’ve placed it). For the price I paid I am delighted with the purchase.. 6.0 x 3.0 ft Outdoor Metal Storage Shed, Waterproof Lockable Trash Can Shed with Lid Chain, Heavy Duty Garden Storage for Trash Cans, Gardening Tools, Toys, and Pool Supplies

A better way to store garbage and recycling bins. I bought three of these for under $130 apiece. I have my gas generator in one so it is protected from the elements. The other two are where I keep my garbage and recycling bins. They are much nicer looking than the bins and keep the pests and weather out.. Michael. Cornwall, NY. Wed Mar 11 2026

Excellent service from Wayfair and brilliant product from Keter. This might be a longer review than I'd normally share but I'm hoping it will help someone. You can be the judge! So, my transaction with Wayfair was seemless and the item arrived within a few days, delivered by a courteous team of 3; 1 supervisor and 2 labourers. So, tip number one. Get the guys to lay the box down very close to where you want to assemble the shed. It's a very heavy box at 74kg so, even for two people, they need to be fit and strong and have long arms! The build quality of the Keter Premier Jumbo is really very good. Although the main panels are plastic, these are reinforced with metal bracing channels that contribute to making it a very strong structure. A few things to note that will pay dividends if you follow them. (I learned the hard way!). 1. Make sure that the area that you are going to be building the unit on is perfectly flat and level. Seriously, if it's out by a few millimetres, it could cause you issues in aligning panels etc. You could use slabs for the base but I went for a sand base, cellular grid and pea gravel to fill it up. 5bags of sharp sand and 10bags of gravel. 2. The instructions are completely graphic, are very good, but you do need to pay close attention to the drawings, especially when it comes to alignment of channels on plastic panels. There can be very slight differences in each end of the metalwork, so make sure you know which end is which! 3. It's definitely a two-person assembly for part of the work but a lot can be done by one person. I'd suggest breaking the 42 steps down into 'micro-kits'. In other words, before you start, lay out what's needed for each of the stages, so that you are not having to revisit the box several times. 4. It's easy to overtighten some of the screws that penetrate the plastic panels, if you are using a cordless screwdriver. If you are in doubt, stop before the last few turns and do them with a manual Phillips screwdriver. Once built, the unit is solid and the hydrogas struts that assist in lifting the lid are a classy finish. They make a nice 'swooshing' noise as they lift the lid and are a reassurance that the lid is not is not going to come down on your hand. Finally, I really enjoyed building this unit, along with my wife. Patience is the key. You may have to retrace your steps once or twice but the end result is a snug, watertight container that looks good too! (I've attached some pics to show the sequence and end result.). Mark. Dunfermline. Wed Aug 26 2026

Tired of raccoons and other critters rummaging through your trash? This metal garbage storage shed is the perfect solution. It features gas struts on the top lid and can also be opened via a double door for convenient access to the bins or your tools. If necessary, the shed can be secured with the latch. The integrated ventilation on the side allow good air circulation and prevent unpleasant odours.

The storage shed's structure is engineered for strength and durability. Constructed from powder-coated thick galvanised steel, it offers enhanced stability and can withstand diverse weather conditions with ease. Additionally, its high-quality lockable door enhances security. Versatile in application, it suits various settings, including patios, gardens, and backyards, offering ample space to declutter and organise.

Takes a long time to put together. Took two of us majority of the day to complete. While this says 6x4, please note that is the OUTSIDE of the shed measurements not the inside. I put my push mower inside and the floor space was almost “gone”. I will put up some 2x6s on the walls to hang other items. I also added a piece of plywood inside it to create a floor. Overall, it does work for what I purchased the shed for at my house.. Anita. Georgia. Thu Apr 02 2026

This heavy-duty metal garden shed delivers reliable year-round outdoor storage for tools, bicycles and garden gear. Constructed with thick steel panels and reinforced joints, this weatherproof outdoor storage unit boasts anti-rust coated finish and tight sealed build to block rain and damp. The lockable entry boosts security, while pre-drilled frames and clear guides support steady, simple installation across uneven garden ground.

We lost an existing shed to a falling tree recently so we fortunately already had a base. I would not recommend building this on the ground. Needs a slab or some sort of structure. Anyhow, the shed came neatly packed in two boxes. I must admit, it was intimidating to see all of the parts and screws but they were all organized well and easy to identify. As is often the case with these types of projects, the instructions could use some help. It was a two day effort with two people. But it is up. Good value for the money. I deducted a star for the plastic film that everything was wrapped in. Not fun to remove.. Marie. Fall City, WA. Sat Dec 21 2024
