We lost an existing shed to a falling tree recently so we fortunately already had a base. I would not recommend building this on the ground. Needs a slab or some sort of structure. Anyhow, the shed came neatly packed in two boxes. I must admit, it was intimidating to see all of the parts and screws but they were all organized well and easy to identify. As is often the case with these types of projects, the instructions could use some help. It was a two day effort with two people. But it is up. Good value for the money. Delivery was fine, the driver phoned 25 mins before he arrived. it is a kerbside drop, it is written in the paperwork that they wont move the shed to the back garden or a place of your choosing so be prepared to lug it yourself. As provided I would rate this shed as 1/5 but with an amount of work 4/5 A good concrete or slabbed base is essential. Allow about £250 for what you also need if you want a good shed. The shed is best painted before assembly, I bought 2 nine litre tubs of Cuprinol Ducksback wood care. I used about 75% of what I bought. The floor will not take any type if weight and is not fit for purpose so I bought 7 1220mm x 2440mm x 18mm OSB3 boards to cover the floor pre assembly. The ends of the side and end panels will all need trimming to obtain any chance of a good fit. You will also need to measure the width of the side panels as the middle roof panels will need trimming to the same length as they need to match on assembly. The roof will support no weight of anybody climbing on it to screw the roof down or attach roof felt. You need to put all the screws you can to pin the roof down then where you can't reach add brackets between the roof and cross members inside the shed. The roof felt will need to be attached across the roof not down the roof as in the plans. Lay the felt over the roof after cutting to size and I suggest pushing over the top with a rake then use Thompson's high performance roof seal 2.5 litre black from screwfix to seal the different felt strips together and the felt tacks for along the guttering. I used a telescopic extendable window cleaner that will hold a brush to cover the seams with the sealer. I also added weather strip to the doors and modified them for my own needs. I am satisfied with how the shed is now after I have put the extra work in.. Caroline. Sutton Coldfield, GB. Wed Jun 07 2017

The shed arrived in two securely packaged boxes that were easy for two people to carry to the assembly site. I unpacked everything in order and confirmed that all parts were present and in perfect condition. The directions were clear and concise, and the components fit together exactly as shown. For those planning to build this, I have three recommendations to make the process easier The Overlap Rule 1.The instructions should emphasize leaving the last screw unsecured where panels overlap until the next panel is in place. 2.Elevate Your Work We used backyard tables for subassembly to avoid working on the ground, which saved our backs. 3.Plan Your Exit When installing the roof, work from the inside toward an outer edge. We kept a stepladder inside the shed to reach the top screws for the center pieces. Just make sure your final panel is one of the outside edges so you can finish the last screws from a ladder on the exterior. For the lower screws, I highly recommend using construction knee pads (I picked mine up at the local hardware store), which made the ground-level work much more comfortable. My assembly partner and I finished the entire build in about 5 ½ hours. While a novice might want a bit more detail in certain steps, we found it to be a very straightforward project. I’m very pleased with the quality and would definitely recommend this to friends and family.. Brenda. Shirleysburg, PA. Sun Apr 05 2026
