Great quality item, much more sturdy and heavy that I was expecting. Was very easy to put together and fits perfectly in the hallway. I used some double sided Velcro strips to hold down the seat cushion and used some rubber matting as a drawer protector as will be using it to hold keys. Very well packaged! Instructions are clear. It took me about 3 hrs to put together, but keep in mind that I had no help and I’m Type A!! I gave it 4 stars bc it could be more sturdy and I would prefer actual knobs over the push spring closure. I am still trying to get the doors to line up right. That’s always a task when it’s not pre-assembled. The color is a tad bit different from stock photo. Also know that not all the shelves are adjustable so if you plan to adjust them go ahead and do so while you are assembling it. This is bc you screw the shelves in from the backside of the cabinet. It will be a pain to adjust after the fact. Overall it’s a very pretty piece and offers plenty of space for shoe storage etc. I also store my porch flags in here since it’s near the front door.. It is a lovely cabinet when finished. My only complaint is there is many parts and takes a lot longer to build then it states on guidelines. The drawers are very tricky to get in place with the screws. Overall it was well worth the price I paid in the sale.. Linda. Carlisle. Tue Jul 28 2026
