Manufactured from a Paulownia wood frame with a beautiful distressed finish, this bench is built to last and has solid stability that can withstand heavy weight with ease. Usually thrilled with the quality of items from Wayfair but this was a big disappointment. Very cheap and flimsy for the money + finish is absolutely awful. I’ve had to make so many modifications just to be able to use it. Put sliders on the bottom of the storage boxes to stop them jamming, painted the entire thing to disguise appalling finish and reupholstered seating pad because the one that comes with the furniture looks more like a cushion innard than a complete, ready-to-use pad..
