Excellent service from Wayfair and brilliant product from Keter. This might be a longer review than I'd normally share but I'm hoping it will help someone. You can be the judge! So, my transaction with Wayfair was seemless and the item arrived within a few days, delivered by a courteous team of 3; 1 supervisor and 2 labourers. So, tip number one. Get the guys to lay the box down very close to where you want to assemble the shed. It's a very heavy box at 74kg so, even for two people, they need to be fit and strong and have long arms! The build quality of the Keter Premier Jumbo is really very good. Although the main panels are plastic, these are reinforced with metal bracing channels that contribute to making it a very strong structure. A few things to note that will pay dividends if you follow them. (I learned the hard way!). 1. Make sure that the area that you are going to be building the unit on is perfectly flat and level. Seriously, if it's out by a few millimetres, it could cause you issues in aligning panels etc. You could use slabs for the base but I went for a sand base, cellular grid and pea gravel to fill it up. 5bags of sharp sand and 10bags of gravel. 2. The instructions are completely graphic, are very good, but you do need to pay close attention to the drawings, especially when it comes to alignment of channels on plastic panels. There can be very slight differences in each end of the metalwork, so make sure you know which end is which! 3. It's definitely a two-person assembly for part of the work but a lot can be done by one person. I'd suggest breaking the 42 steps down into 'micro-kits'. In other words, before you start, lay out what's needed for each of the stages, so that you are not having to revisit the box several times. 4. It's easy to overtighten some of the screws that penetrate the plastic panels, if you are using a cordless screwdriver. If you are in doubt, stop before the last few turns and do them with a manual Phillips screwdriver. Once built, the unit is solid and the hydrogas struts that assist in lifting the lid are a classy finish. They make a nice 'swooshing' noise as they lift the lid and are a reassurance that the lid is not is not going to come down on your hand. Finally, I really enjoyed building this unit, along with my wife. Patience is the key. You may have to retrace your steps once or twice but the end result is a snug, watertight container that looks good too! (I've attached some pics to show the sequence and end result.). Mark. This tool shed is designed in the country house style and is characterized by a large amount of space for storing a wide variety of garden tools. The doors are equipped with elegant knob-shaped handles and black fittings. The two doors are each closed by two magnets at the top and bottom. The feet of the equipment cabinet are covered with plastic sleeves to protect the cabinet and the wood from floor moisture. This shed looks great once built, however when delivered some parts were damaged, had white paint and screws in parts that didnt require it, but speaking to wayfair customer service they managed to sort something out for us. Whilst building the shed the small panel was uneven and made the overal roof uneven when putting boards on top but as we decided to change the direction of the roof slant, we managed to cover it with the roof felt which doesnt look so bad, once covered. The shed does require you to put silicone on the windows which you have to purchase seperatly but overall once built looks great, and as a bonus has a key lock for extra protection. Very easy to erect and quick decent quality for the price. Although the base is poor using small batton as a base is rubbish so I used 4” 2” to give it more of a Sturdy base most of the batton supplied was damaged anyway only due to large knots in it. The instructions are generic which is a bit rubbish but commence prevailed. The delivery was TERRIBLE the delivery time was a month and wayfair sent me an email stating it will be delivered on a certain date so I took a day off work and had tree surgeons booked to remove a hedge so I could get the large shed in, unfortunately the delivery company came 2 days earlier so the hedge was still up and the shed couldn’t be delivered and then told redelivery will be in two weeks so not very impressed I was very close to cancelling if I’m honest. But couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. So that been said the shed is great but the base is rubbish as it comes so buy some decent timber for the base. Stuart. North Curry Taunton, GB. I was a little worried on the day since my shed hadn’t arrived by 4pm but a quick call to a very polite gentleman at Power Sheds reassured me and it arrived as promised. Onto the build: instructions are very clear and the video is really useful. All the fixings eg screws are quality and the timber all fabulous quality too. Put up a 7x5 pent in about 3 hours with help from my wife to position the panels. Longest job was putting on the roof felt but it was relatively easy. This was a big expense for me we brought a 20 x 6 pent shed, the whole experience was fantastic. I Emailed a question on a Sunday and had a response back within the hour. The transaction was painless delivery as promised. I even had a phone call at the end of the day on the delivery day to ask if all went to plan. Very good shed. Very poor delivery service! Be warned - You have to be home for 2 consecutive days to allow for delivery on one of those days! Like most people, I work shifts and do not get days off together. Then said they would phone an hour ahead to allow me time to nip home to sign and put in the garage - but no, obviously too much trouble and left it on display, on my drive for anyone to take, even though they apparently won’t leave without a signature!!
