The piece of furniture in itself is really nice. However, I do advise everyone to check it for flaws before putting together as we didn't (an error of judgement on our part) and only noticed after putting it together it had a tear in the fabric. Also the fitting to attach the gas spring on the lid was at a ninety degree angle. The fitting was fortunately able to be fixed. Maybe better packaging would have helped. Deep, sophisticated and effortlessly contemporary - this Cream Footstool Ottoman is the anchor piece for modern UK living rooms, home offices and bedrooms that are not afraid of a darker palette. Charcoal is one of the UK's most searched home accent colours, and this soft boucle-effect footstool delivers it with warmth and texture rather than cold flatness. The eco sugarcane bagasse frame makes this a responsible purchase - built from the natural by-product of sugarcane processing, the construction is genuinely sustainable. The natural fibre upholstery adds a tactile depth that lifts the dark colourway into something considered and cosy rather than simply stark. Bold-coloured sofas, neutral walls, pale wood floors, marble surfaces - Cream works with all of them. Use this stool as a footrest, a low table, extra guest seating, or a strong visual anchor in any room that needs grounding.
