Removable Lid Steel Rubbish Bins & Recycling Bins

The simplehuman unique touch-bar makes it easy to open the bin from any angle. Just tap with your elbow, bump with your hip or nudge with your knee. And it stays open until you are ready to close it - ideal during food prep or while finishing up long chores. The simplehuman code M liner fits this bin perfectly no bunching or slipping for a cleaner experience.

I wanted this trash bin because of the handle bar open. Motion sensor was out of the question for me because of my narrow kitchen and I shied away from step cans because of accidental opens. It looks good but the steel is thin, thinner than cheaper trash cans I've seen for 1/3 the price. The first one I received had a big dent on the edge. The box and shipping box were not damaged. The second one I received was perfect. The handle bar and manual closing becomes tedious and I wish I opted for a step can. I saw the Kohler step can recently and it has thicker steel, soft close, and feels quality made.. Samuel. Forest Hills, NY. Thu Feb 14 2019

Needed a bin with large capacity that fits in a very small area in my kitchen. This was the only bin I could find online that fit the width I needed with a large capacity and I’m so glad it comes with other benefits like the no finger prints and germs feature. I couldn’t be happier with this trash can. I ordered a second for recycling! My old SimpleHuman can left black marks on the wall that drove me crazy but this one doesn’t touch the wall at all. And it holds more but still has a low profile from the wall so it feels like it takes up less space. Highly recommend!. Sarah. Baltimore, MD. Sat May 22 2021

I truly like this trash can. Having a two receptacle can makes it so easy to sort garbage from the recyclables. The compact size was the primary attraction since this can fits into a very specific space that could not be enlarged. I have removed a star since this is a really expensive solution that requires even more expensive "special" trash bags.. Susan. Somerville, MA. Fri Mar 15 2019
