Our stainless motion sensor touchless can died after less than a year and we couldn’t find a replacement lid. We started looking at white cans to go with our white coastal decor. We weren’t sure how we were going to like this one because you do have to touch the top to open it, and we weren’t sure about the black lid. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! We love this can. It fits perfectly in a small space, and we like the simplicity of the easy touch open lid. Added bonus is that aesthetically it’s very cool looking!. Sherry. Gulf Breeze, FL. Tue Feb 02 2021

Had moved house and was used to have my bins in a cupboard so I wanted something that didn’t scream bin. This is lovely and fits the space really well. My only gripe Is I wish they did a bigger version my old vine were 2 x 50 L and this is 2 x 30L so doesn’t take long to fill.. Jo. Suffolk. Mon Apr 20 2026

Ready for the next step in organising your home? Get your hands on the Brabantia Touch Bin 30 litre. This sturdy bin is easy to clean, protects the floor from scratches and opens smoothly, thanks to the soft-touch opening system. It really is easy!

Just as I expected! We've had a 13 Gallon Brabantia for our kitchen for many years and debated on this one, thinking it might be a bit much for a bathroom. The price was right at the time I ordered and couldn't be happier with it! Also, wasn't sure of the white, but it stands out nicely. It's slender & comes about thigh high on me, and I'm 5'1". I know this will be with us for a very long time! (don't mind the dogs in the pic). Laura. Sachse, TX. Tue Jan 23 2024

The trash bin is beautiful, but I really need a larger single bin for the amount of trash/recycling we go through. I’m making it work, but would rather just have two separate larger containers. This would be perfect for a single person.. April. Massillon, OH. Sat Mar 05 2022

Outstanding - perfect fit for the kitchen with cream walls, cream cabinets and red appliances/kitchen accessories. Brings really nice balance to the other side of the kitchen next to the island.. Elliot. Metairie, LA. Wed May 10 2023

The simplehuman unique touch-bar makes it easy to open the bin from any angle. Just tap with your elbow, bump with your hip or nudge with your knee. And it stays open until you are ready to close it - ideal during food prep or while finishing up long chores. The simplehuman code M liner fits this bin perfectly no bunching or slipping for a cleaner experience.

I wanted this trash bin because of the handle bar open. Motion sensor was out of the question for me because of my narrow kitchen and I shied away from step cans because of accidental opens. It looks good but the steel is thin, thinner than cheaper trash cans I've seen for 1/3 the price. The first one I received had a big dent on the edge. The box and shipping box were not damaged. The second one I received was perfect. The handle bar and manual closing becomes tedious and I wish I opted for a step can. I saw the Kohler step can recently and it has thicker steel, soft close, and feels quality made.. Samuel. Forest Hills, NY. Thu Feb 14 2019

Needed a bin with large capacity that fits in a very small area in my kitchen. This was the only bin I could find online that fit the width I needed with a large capacity and I’m so glad it comes with other benefits like the no finger prints and germs feature. The packaging was great and came with some free bin bags too with a QR link magnet to attach to the bin in case you run out!. Humaira. Ashton-under-lyne, GB. Tue Jun 30 2026

Absolutely love this bin. It looks far more stylish than a normal kitchen bin and blends beautifully into a modern kitchen. The soft-touch opening works smoothly, it has a large capacity, and the raised legs make cleaning underneath much easier. It feels very sturdy and high quality. The only downside is the price, but the design and finish make it feel worth it if you want something practical that also looks good.”. Rafaela. Mon May 25 2026

It’s a nice bin and very useful having 3 compartments but it is awkward to empty. I use the large top section for recycling as I have more of that, then the other 2 for general waste and soft plastic for recycling separately, but the large bin is bulky and awkward. Maybe could do with a removable liner otherwise the whole bin has to be taken down the garden for emptying!. Penelope. Chatteris, GB. Sat Jun 20 2026
