Delivered on time but a little disappointed with the colour as slightly darker grey than in the picture. Took me about an hour and a half to put together as one of the holes just slightly off so had to keep loosening other screws around it to eventually get them all in. Once put together looks and feels very sturdy. Please check every part for breaks in the rattan as it was only when I had nearly finished that I noticed a break near one of the screws. Unfortunately it is right on the corner at the front of the box and unable to try and rejoin the pieces as pieces missing but I could not face taking all screws out to return the box so have kept it. Except for the one break I am pleased with my purchase.. Barbara. York, GB. Mon Aug 31 2026

I’ve got it, it looks great in several wooden pieces, but I’ve yet to muster enough courage to try to actually build the bloody thing. I hate building stuff, I wish it had arrived already built. I’ve shelved it for now … I’ll see if my builder will attempt to put it together for me. I think this’ll be another ‘scrabble round the floor’ job that’ll involve losing screws, and those awful little key things … that prefer to escape than be used. . Terixbenji. North Norfolk. Looks great and is exactly as described. However, it’s not that easy to put together and you definitely need two people to do it. Picture only instructions which are misleading. Fiddly Allen key assembly which is slow going. Make sure the open/closing mechanism on side panel and lid are on the same side. Not sure it is worth almost £200. Nice looking box, solid wood, it is made waterproof by a plastic liner which will mean water will collect on that, not ideal in Scottish weather, it was not made clear on the description. It is also made in Vietnam which we were surprised to find, initially when the courier notification came from a Chinese company and then to be labelled made in Vietnam, the country of origin listed as Germany is not very transparent.. Victoria. Howwood, GB. Sun Feb 11 2024

This garden storage box is ideal for storing your cushions, pillows, blankets, and other items in the garden or on the patio.

I like this. It's sturdy enough to sit on and the wood top is very attractive against the grey wicker-effect, plus there is loads of storage space. NB I am using it in my summerhouse, not outdoors, so have not put it to the test in terms of weather-proofing. It looks like the inner bags may be waterproof, but not the mesh sides, which would let water in, and, being plastic, might fade in the sun over time, hence 4 stars, not 5. I would suggest covering it when not in use if using it outside. But it's just what I needed and great for the price.. Sara. Brighton. Wed Jun 05 2024
