I was in need of a new mattress for my bed as it was getting uncomfortable but due to cost decided to invest in this mattress topper just now. I gave the mattress topper a good shake, and left it for 48 hours to do its thing. It really is 4" thick. They've sewn it in such a way that everything stays in place. it is so comfy and like a new mattress! I had the best night sleep ever on it , so such so I decided to order the single version for my children's beds even though they didn't really need them, just for the comfort factor alone. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.
