Beige V&A Duvet Covers & Sets

Paisley-esque blooms twirl throughout this charming collection, based on a woodblock sample pattern for a printed fabric made at Garratt’s Silk Printing Works, Wandsworth, London, about 1850. The colour palette is restrained, with tones of Ivory, Linen and Slate grey blending together to create a calming, contemporary mood.

Inspired by an 1880s printed cotton swatch in the V&A, this design celebrates Indian-inspired floral motifs with a distinctly Victorian twist. While echoing the elegance of paisley, the British-produced original reimagines the classic form, blending intricate pattern, resulting in a lavish and ornate design.

Inspired by the rich heritage of Rajasthan's block-printing traditions, this bedding set features a design of marigolds that originally graced cloth for robes dating back to 1772; the textile is currently housed in the V&A collection and its joyful motif symbolises passion and creativity on the Indian subcontinent.

This bedding design draws inspiration from a chinoisere style wallpaper pattern by William Turner from the early 20th century, originally created from 18th-century originals held in the V&A. The design is reimagined with a refreshed colour palette, giving it a unique and contemporary twist that feels both fresh and stylish for today’s aesthetic.

This exquisite 'Peony Blossom' design draws inspiration from a stunning watercolour by Charlotte Horne Spiers, held in the V&A collection. A gifted artist, Spiers brought her talent to pottery painting first at Mintons and then as a freelancer. Her work captures the delicate beauty and rich detail of nature, and this design beautifully translates her vision into a timeless pattern that celebrates her artistic legacy.

This elegant bedding features a faithful reproduction of a wallpaper design from the 19th century that is adorned with briar roses. Adding to its allure, the reverse pattern is influenced by an 18th century textile design by Heussner & Co. Together, these elements create an inviting atmosphere of calm and natural beauty.

Inspired by a 1920s floral fabric, held in the V&A textile collection, this pattern depicts bouquets of delphiniums and fuchsias in a soft, harmonious colour palette that captures the idyllic country house aesthetic. Companies like Sanderson and Liberty popularised such designs in the 20th century that brought warmth and sophistication to everyday interiors. This bedding offers a modern touch to a classic style while celebrating the enduring appeal of nature-inspired motifs.

Drawing inspiration from 18th-century French textile designs held in the V&A, this bedding features floral motifs derived from a preparatory technical drawing commissioned by a silk maker in Lyon, the centre of the European silk industry for several centuries. The elegant, curvaceous pattern has been updated, making it an ideal choice for those seeking classic style in their decor.

'Ribbon Lattice' is a beautiful monochromatic rendition of a French textile from the 18th to the early 19th century, held in the V&A collection. The design captures the spirit of the original pattern, which is characteristic of textiles from the 1780s to the 1820s. The fine detailing and timeless sophistication make it a perfect choice for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
