The Emma Original Classic is a 25 cm deep all foam mattress with a gently cushioning, hugging feel and balanced support underneath. Three layers of foam work together. MemoryAdapt foam at the top moulds to your body and distributes weight evenly to ease pressure at the shoulders and hips, while the SupportBase layer below eases strain and holds you up without letting you sink. Foam cutouts at the shoulder and hip zones let the surface flex where the body puts the most pressure, cradling the joints rather than pushing back against them, which makes this mattress particularly suited to side sleepers. The foam also absorbs movement naturally, so a partner turning over or getting up is less likely to wake you, and it is engineered to hold its form through years of nightly use. The cover is fully removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. The Emma Original Classic has a medium feel and comes with a 100 night trial and a 10 year guarantee.

Disappointing Quality and Unpleasant Smell Unfortunately, Im very disappointed with this mattress. I bought it for my son, but I found it far too dense, heavy and uncomfortable. Im also not happy with its overall structure and quality. On top of that, it has a very strong, unpleasant smell that simply wont go away, even after several days. I expected much better quality, especially from a mattress designed for children. I wouldnt recommend it.. Rafaela. London, GB. Fri Oct 30 2026

Deeper cushioning for a softer, more enveloping night — ideal for couples and side sleepers upgrading their main bedroom. An all-foam mattress designed using high-quality materials for an uninterrupted night's sleep. The mattress features high-density reflex foam as its core material. Reflex foam is a no-sink material as a very supportive and durable foam. Unlike memory foam, reflex foam is fairly firm, is not temperature sensitive, and does not mold to your body, it provides a relatively quick bounce back. Due to these special properties, the foam provides great support, it will distribute your weight evenly to relieve pressure from key areas such as your neck, shoulders, hips, and back. Due to the springless design, the mattress allows for a silent, undisturbed night's sleep. 'No roll together is a great advantage to an all-foam reflex mattress. This means both users will not find themselves rolling towards the middle of the mattress, you will also not disturb a sleeping partner when moving around at night. The mattress comes complete with a quilted cover for extra comfort. The cover is also removable to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance. Sanitized materials are used to provide hypoallergenic and anti-dust mite properties. A great mattress for allergy and asthma sufferers. This mattress is vacuum-packed and rolled for easy delivery. Please allow up to 72 hours once opened for the mattress to expand and reform to its original shape. Please Note: The additives used in the manufacturing of foam may give rise to a slight odor. If this should occur, please remove all packaging and store it in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours. The odor is safe and will dissipate over time.

Excellent piece of kit. Best value for money.. Anonymous. Sun Dec 01 2024

During sleep, your body naturally creates more pressure around areas such as your shoulders, hips and lower back. This is why comfort begins with a material that can respond to your body's shape. The mattress uses 40kg/m³ Memory Foam, a high-density memory foam layer designed to gently contour around your body and help distribute weight more evenly for a more comfortable sleeping surface. But comfort alone is not enough. A mattress also needs to support you as you move. As sleeping positions change throughout the night, materials need to respond quickly while maintaining balance. Beneath the memory foam, 30kg/m³ Reflex Foam provides a responsive transition layer, helping the mattress recover naturally and maintain consistent support. The foundation beneath these layers plays an equally important role. Without a durable support core, the comfort materials above cannot perform at their best over time. That's why the Balance Memory Foam Mattress uses EcoFoam, a high-density support layer created by repurposing premium polyurethane foam. It provides the stability needed for long-lasting performance while supporting a more considered approach to material use. Comfort also begins before you reach the foam layers. The mattress is finished with a soft bamboo non-quilted cover and manufactured in the UK using carefully selected materials.

This mattress is made from a perfect combination of memory foam and reflex foam. With an upper layer of memory foam, it is soft and pliable. It follows the outline of your body perfectly and provides the best possible support to your body's spine so you can immediately find the best possible sleeping position. Reflex foam is the core part of the mattress, it provides great support. The mattress comes complete with a removable zip cover for extra comfort. Please note: The additives used in the manufacturing of foam may give rise to a slight odor. If this should occur, please remove all packaging and store it in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours. The odor is safe and will dissipate over time.
